Bengaluru: The annual teacher transfer will take place in the first week of this month.

Minister for Primary and Secondary Education S. Suresh Kumar, in a press release, said that the Government has finalised the guidelines for Government school teachers this year and the transfer will take place as per the new set of guidelines. The officials will announce the transfer schedule in a couple of days.

Pointing out that the transfer will be teacher friendly, he said that those teachers who were troubled by last year’s mandatory transfer will be given first preference this time.

The transfer process will be completed by the end of August, he added.
