Bengaluru: Primary and Secondary Education Minister N. Mahesh has said that measures will be taken for completing teacher transfers through counselling in 15 days.
Replying to a question by MLC Tara Anuradha in the Legislative Council recently, Mahesh said that measures are in place for transfers of Govt. Primary, High School teachers and PU College lecturers through counselling.
Pointing out that the schedule for counselling was announced in January itself, he said that, however, the transfer process got delayed due to the announcement of Assembly polls.
Maintaining that the transfer process got further delayed due to a High Court stay, the Minister said that PU College lecturers will be transferred via counselling after notifying A, B and C zones.
