Teachers and students should reckon growth in literature

 

Mysuru:  BGS B.Ed College had organised a programme titled ‘Masthakakkondu Pusthaka’ at its premises in city recently to draw attention of people towards literature.

Speaking on the occasion, Writer Dr. Kabbinale Vasanth Bharadwaj observed that Kannada literature had grown enormously from ancient times to modern literature and appealed teachers and students to reckon that growth in literature.

Pointing out that Kannada literature has a broad and strong base; he said that books have their own advantages in imparting knowledge to readers.

A book exhibition consisting of books in Kannada and English languages on literature, biographies, personality development and competitive examinations was also organised on the occasion. College Principal Dr. Nagaraj, faculty D.N. Nagaraj and others were present.
