The District Administration, in association with ZP and Department of School Education, will be celebrating Teachers Day at Kalamandira on Hunsur Road at 2.30 pm tomorrow (Sept. 5).District Minister Dr.YathindraSiddaramaiah will inaugurate the event in the presence of Union Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy and former CM Siddaramaiah. On the occasion, Best District-level Teacher Award will be presented to 33 teachers. Also, 99 teachers of Mysuru South and North Zones, who retired from service in 2025-26, will be felicitated. Chamaraja MLA K. Harishgowda will preside.
