Temple burgled

March 14, 2020

Mysore/Mysuru:  Burglars have struck again, this time targeting a temple in the city. The Sri Kalika Devi Temple on ABBA Road in Gandhinagar was found burgled on Thursday morning.

Burglars, who gained entry into the Temple by breaking open the front door late on Wednesday night, have decamped with six-gram gold jewellery that adorned the deity, 50-gram silver articles kept in the almirah at sanctum sanctorum and cash from the Hundi (offerings box) after breaking it open. The burglary came to light when the Temple priest  came to the Temple on early Thursday morning.

Nazarbad Police have registered a case in this regard and are investigating.
