Ten TN labourers who entered Chamarajanagar without permission sent to quarantine

Chamarajanagar: Ten labourers, who had entered Chamarajanagar from Tamil Nadu (TN) without permission, have been put under quarantine.

They were working at a granite factory near Badanaguppe village in the taluk and have been quarantined at a hostel from Tuesday night. These labourers had entered Chamarajanagar by hoodwinking the officials and without obtaining permission from the district administration.

The residents and workers at the granite factory, who came to know about the entry of labourers informed the matter to the officials of the Health Department, who rushed to the granite factory and conducted an inspection. The officials took the 10 labourers in a vehicle to a hostel where they have been put under quarantine.

These labourers had applied for permission in the Seva Sindhu portal and the district administration had denied permission, but still, they came from Tamil Nadu, it is said.
