Tension in Devaraja Mohalla as horses run amok

November 13, 2017

Mysuru: Tension prevailed for sometime at Devaraja Mohalla here on Saturday when two horses ran amok and tried to bite the public.

The horses which ran amok on Devaraj Urs Road and on some roads in Devaraja Mohalla, tried to bite the public at some places resulting in the public running helter-skelter to avoid getting bitten. Some members of the public, ran behind the horses in a bid to catch them.

Meanwhile, the staff of Mysuru City Corporation (MCC), who arrived at the spot, managed to catch the horses after much difficulty.

As the horses ran amok, they knocked down two-wheelers parked on roadsides resulting in damages to the vehicles.

The MCC authorities are now trying to trace the owners of these horses to initiate legal action on them.
