Marking the 175th birth anniversary of Venkatakrishnaiah, popularly known as Thathaiah, city’s The Anathalaya is holding a public meeting on the great philanthropist at Sriram Mandira in Krishnamurthypuram at 5 this evening (Sept.14). Space Scientist Dr. T.G.K. Murthy and former IAS officer V.V. Bhat will be the chief guest. Writer Kabbinale Vasanth Bharadwaj will be conferred ‘Thathaiah’ award on the occasion.
