Mysuru: The 23rd edition of The Hindu Education Plus Career Counselling, which has guided the path of students’ futures, has begun at various locations across the State. In Mysuru, the Career Counselling and Guidance Programme-2025 will be held on Saturday (May 3) at 9.30 am at the Sahukar Chennaiah Auditorium of Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering (VVCE) in Gokulam.
Student registration will begin at 9 am. Students will receive necessary guidance on topics including medical, engineering and other professional courses, entrance exams such as CET, NEET, CA and CS, as well as degree and higher education in Science, Arts, Commerce and Law.
K.R. Nandini, CEO, Zilla Panchayat, Mandya, will be the chief guest and motivational speaker for the event.
G.R. Vinutha, who secured an All India Rank of 906 in the 2024 UPSC Civil Services Examination, will speak about UPSC.
S. Bhargava from the Mysuru Branch of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, will speak about Chartered Accountancy.
Dr. B. Sadashivegowda, Principal, VVCE, will speak on engineering education.
Dr. S.N. Manjunath, Head, Community Medical Department at Mysore Medical College and Research Institute, will speak on medical education.
Uday Shankar, Nodal Officer, KEA Helpline Division, will provide information on CET counselling.
Ameen E. Mudassir, Head of Sigma Institute, will offer guidance on other educational opportunities.
Students who have passed or are currently studying in II PUC can participate in this career counselling. Serving as a bridge between students, parents and educational institutions, this career counselling will help students choose the right courses in their academic journey through proper guidance.
