The pathetic condition of Mysuru’s Main Roads

Sir,

As a resident of one of the cleanest and heritage cities of India, that is Mysuru, it saddens me to see that the road conditions of our city are going really from bad to worse.

I commute to my work daily by Adichunchanagiri main road, which is one of the busiest roads of our city. It was once a cleanly asphalted road, but now it’s one of the worst roads of Mysuru. The sad thing is that it has been in this condition for more than 7-8 months and getting worse day by day.

The road which starts from Apollo BGS Hospital and goes till Shiva temple in Srirampura has hundreds and hundreds of potholes, heavy vehicle marks like JCB and other earth movers. On the whole, the road is extremely dirty with lots of patch works.

Why is no one looking into this? Are the Corporators sleeping? Where are the promises they made? Why is the rain always the reason for delayed repair works ? What are they doing for over 7-8 months ? Is this why we should vote for them?

It’s really devastating to see this happening in our city, which we portray as one of the cleanest cities, when in reality it’s actually not.

I hope this message reaches the right people and these problems will be solved soon.
