‘The Paying Guest’ to be staged at Kiru Rangamandira tomorrow

Kannada Book Authority Chairman Dr. Nandish Hanche to release ‘Rangothri’  

Mysuru: The play ‘The Paying Guest’ authored by columnist G.L. Thripuranthaka will be staged under the auspices of Paraspara Art Foundation at Kiru Rangamandira in Kalamandira premises on Dec. 14 and on Dec. 21 at 7 pm. 

The play is directed by young theatre artiste Kiran Girgi. P. Krishnan, Sudha Gudugunti, P. Supreet and Jagadish Rajashekhar are playing the lead roles.

Prior to the play, on Dec. 14 at 6 pm, ‘Rangothri,’ a collection of three plays authored by Mysooru Mithra (sister publication of Star of Mysore) columnist G.L. Thripuranthaka, will be release at the venue. The book is  published by Ananya Pustakagalu Prakashana. 

Kunduru Mutt Seer Dr. Sharathchandra Swamy, who is also the Assistant Professor in Vedanta Faculty and Co-ordinating Research & Academics Department of Karnataka Sanskrit University, Bengaluru, will grace the occasion. Prashanthi Belekere of Paraspara Art Foundation will inaugurate. Kannada Pusthaka Pradhikara (Kannada Book Authority) Chairman Dr. Nandish Hanche will release the book. Senior theatre personality Prof. H.S. Umesh will speak about the work. Publisher D.N. Lokappa and writer G.L.T. will be present on the occasion.
