Mysore/Mysuru: Theatre artiste Naveen Kumar (Naveen Netaji) allegedly ended his life by hanging self at his rented accommodation in Vijayanagar here yesterday.
Naveen Kumar (32) was working for a private firm in the city. A theatre enthusiast, he had formed his own theatre group ‘Rangasmruthi’ and had staged several popular plays like ‘Ondu Bogase Neeru’ and ‘Sankranthi’ at Mysuru, Bengaluru and other places.
Naveen Kumar got married three years ago and stayed in a rented house in Vijayanagar since then.
Naveen was said to be depressed after the child delivered by his wife died and also due to financial problems triggered by COVID crisis.
Vijayanagar police have registered a case in this regard.
