Theetharmada Kamavva Kushalappa (104) passed away yesterday afternoon at her son’s residence in Nallur village, near Ponnampet in Kodagu.
Well-known as Coravanda Kamu teacher, she leaves behind three sons — Ravi Nanjappa, Shashi Ganapathy and Deepak Belliappa; daughters-in-law — Indira Nanjappa, Laaj Ganapathy and Lekha Belliappa; grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
Last rites were performed at 12 noon today at Nallur village, according to family sources.
