Thorera M. Chengappa (47), a resident of Huyilalu in the taluk, passed away at a private hospital in city yesterday evening.

A native of Madikeri in Kodagu, he leaves behind his wife, one daughter, one son, mother, brothers and a host of relatives and friends.

Last rites will be held at Bettageri in Madikeri taluk this evening, according to family sources.
