Three arrested for forcing girls into flesh trade

Mysuru: Bengaluru CCB Police have arrested three persons including a Mysurean on charges of bringing girls from other States by promising them jobs and later forcing them into flesh trade.

The arrested are 21-year-old Kashi of Yelwal, Mysuru, 30-year-old Deepak alias Deepak Gowda of Channarayapatna and 21-year-old Prajwal of K.R. Pet. The accused had locked the girls at a house in Chikkasandra in Soladevanahalli and were running the flesh trade racket.

Acting on a tip off, the Bengaluru CCB Police raided the house, arrested the accused and rescued the girls. The Cops have seized three mobile phones, Rs. 3,500 cash and other  items from the accused.

It is learnt that accused Deepak was earlier running the flesh trade racket at Hassan and later shifted to Bengaluru, where he rented a house at Chikkasandra, lured girls from other States promising them jobs and later forced them into flesh trade.

Another accused Kashi of Yelwal, in order to lead a luxurious life, had involved himself in this racket.
