Mysuru: With the southern half of the State scheduled to go for polls on Apr.18, three candidates filed their nominations from Mysuru-Kodagu Lok Sabha seat on the third day of nomination yesterday.
The three candidates, all independents who filed their nomination papers are B.D. Ningappa, a resident of Vijayanagar, M.J. Suresh Gowda, President of Vishwamanava Yuva Vedike and a resident of Vontikoppal here and M. Lingaraju.
All the three submitted their nomination papers to ADC G. Anuradha, who is also the Assistant Returning Officer. While Ningappa and Lingaraju submitted one set of nomination papers, Suresh Gowda submitted two sets.
Till yesterday a total of 8 candidates have filed their nomination from Mysuru-Kodagu LS seat with the last day being Mar.26.
