Mysuru: With Dasara Exhibition attracting more and more number of visitors with each passing year, three companies have submitted tenders, quoting a higher rate than the amount put to tender.
After the Karnataka Exhibition Authority (KEA) invited tenders for Rs.7.34 crore, three companies have filed tenders.
While Vinod Kumar of Fun World and Resort India (P) Ltd., has submitted tender quoting Rs.8.25 crore, G. Manju of Ashwini Enterprises and buildings has quoted Rs. 7,77,99,999 and Babulal of Sales and Marketing Co., Bengaluru has quoted Rs. 7,46,19,333, it is learnt.
Interestingly, all the three have quoted a higher amount than the Rs.7.34 crore put to tender by the KEA. The KEA has forwarded the Government and the successful bidder will be known in a couple of days, according to sources.
Meanwhile, the lawn works inside the exhibition premises is being expedited with the Dasara festival just 15 days away. The lawn has not been developed in the past 20 years and this year, it is being given a makeover, so as to make it more attractive, according to KEA CEO Girish.
