M.M. Hills: The three-day ‘Deepavali Jathre Mahotsava’ commenced at MM Hills yesterday. The idol of Mahadeshwara Swamy was cleaned and prepared for the rituals yesterday. The traditional pujas will be performed today and Maha Rathotsava tomorrow. The concluding part is ‘Theppotsava’ tomorrow at 10 pm.
Special pujas will also be performed on Mondays of ‘Karthika’ month falling on Nov.12, 19 and 26 and Dec.3 at the Temple followed by ‘Theppotsava’ on the last day, according to the Temple authorities.
