Three-day language conference at AIISH

A three-day ‘All India Eighth Official Language Conference’ under the auspices of Ministry of Health and Family Welfare will be held at All India Institute of Speech and Hearing (AIISH) from Oct. 30.  The main theme of the Conference is ‘India, Indianism and excellence of Indian languages’, highlighting the inter-relationship of Indian Languages and their relevance with the specific contexts. Dr. M Pushpavathi, AIISH Director will preside over the Conference that will be inaugurated on Oct. 30 at 9.30 am in the Seminar Hall, Knowledge Park. Dr. Chandra Bhushan Tripati, Special Secretary, Public Works Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh will be the chief guest.

The conference is being organised by AIISH in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare under the stewardship of Dr. Vedprakash Dubey, Director, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare and Rajesh Srivastav, Deputy Director. The salient features of the three-day Conference are lecture sessions from eminent scholars.  Dr. Chandra Bhushan Tripati will speak on Sanskrit as a base for various Indian languages.
