Three-day musical tribute to late actors, Rashtrakavi Kuvempu from tomorrow

Mysuru: Karnataka Sugama Sangeetha Parishath, Mysuru Unit, Gana Nandana Institute and Vidyullahari have jointly organised a three-day programme in memory of late thespian Dr. Rajkumar and late actors Dr. Vishnuvardhan and Shankar Nag along with a tribute to Rashtrakavi Kuvempu from Dec. 26 to Dec. 28 at Nada Brahma Sangeetha Sabha on JLB Road.

Addressing the press persons, Vidyullahari Institute Manager Dr. A.D. Srinivasan said the event would feature rendition of songs featuring the late actors.

On Dec. 26, tributes will be paid to Dr. Rajkumar and Dr. Vishnuvardhan at 5 pm. On Dec. 27, the rendition of songs featuring Shankar Nag from 4.30 pm and the event on Dec. 28 will pay tributes to Kuvempu and singer Dr. Ashwath at 5 pm. Entry is free for all three days.

Gana-Nandana Institute President N. Bettegowda and Karnataka Sugama Sangeetha Parishath, Mysuru Unit, President Nagaraj Bairy were present.
