Three-day Ugadi Sangeetotsava at Mysore Palace from Apr. 29

Mysuru: With the long weekend approaching and the footfall to various tourist locations in and around   Mysuru expected to increase, the Mysore Palace Board is all set to treat the visitors with cultural programmes under Ugadi Sangeetotsava at its premises from Apr. 29 to May 1.

The Mysuru Police Band will perform on Apr. 29 between 6 pm and 7 pm which will be followed by the inauguration of Ugadi Sangeetotsava by District in-Charge Minister Dr. H.C. Mahadevappa. Later, singer Ajay Warrier and troupe will perform from 7.30 pm to 9.30 pm.

On Apr. 30, Vid. Vidyabhushana and group will render classical vocal between 7.30 pm and 9.30 pm while renowned violinists Dr. Mysore Manjunath and  Vid. Mysore Nagaraj and group will perform on May 1 between 7 pm and 9 pm, according to a press release.
