Three-day ‘Workshop Mela’ held: Newsletter ‘CS MAIL’ released

 

Mysuru  – A three-day Workshop Mela was organised by the Department of  Computer Science and Engineering,  ATME College of Engineering, Mysuru, at the college premises here recently.

Three different workshops were organised for Computer Science students of 4th, 6th and 8th semesters.

Workshop on ‘Raspberry Pi 3’ for 8th sem students was conducted by Mahesha Devarajappa from Veda Softech Pvt. Ltd., Mysuru. The second workshop on ‘Career Guidance – Finding and Getting Right Jobs’ for 6th  sem students was conducted by K. S. Manjunatha, CEO, I-Quest, Mysuru. The third workshop on ‘Basics of Object Oriented Programming using C++’ for students from 4th sem was conducted by Asst. Professors from the Department — B.H. Anil Kumar, C.R. Sneha,  Ajay Kumar, B.Kiran, H.A. Sharath and M.M. Keerthana — as resource persons.

Dr. L. Basavaraj, Principal, ATMECE, who was the chief guest, spoke about  the importance of organising such workshops and said that students should gain knowledge from such workshops in developing academic projects.

On the occasion, CSE Department’s Newsletter ‘CS MAIL’ Volume 5, Issue 1, was released.  

Prof. M. S. Veerendra Kumar, Head, Department of CSE, presided.
