Mysuru: The probe into the lethal attack on Tanveer Sait has been intensified and the State Government has now provided three gunmen as security to the MLA.

The three gunmen have been instructed to provide security to the MLA 24×7 by working in three shifts.

No connection between attack on Sait and SDPI

There is no connection between the attack on MLA Tanveer Sait and SDPI and the party is not responsible for such a heinous act, said Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI) National General Secretary Abdul Majid.

Addressing a press meet at Patrakarthara Bhavan here yesterday, Majid said that the Police have already arrested the accused and interrogated him and added that political leaders should not heed to sayings that would mislead the investigation.
