Mysuru: Three persons sustained serious injuries when the driver of a Innova vehicle lost control and rammed into them near Akashavani in Yadavagiri here last night.
The injured persons have been identified as S.K. Chandrashekar, a native of Somanathanahalli, Hassan district, who is presently residing in Hebbal here, his brother Anand and 18-year-old Suraj, a resident of Gokulam in city.
It is reported that Chandrashekar, who owns ‘Medical Care It’ shop in Agrahara here, picked up his brother Anand from City Railway Station, who had come to take up the Excise Department Exam and was proceeding towards his house in Hebbal.
When they reached near Akashavani, a white colour speeding Kerala registered Innova (KL-57 B-3965), which came from Yadavagiri side rammed into the bike on which the duo were travelling and also rammed into another bike on which Suraj was riding thus injuring the three seriously.
The injured have been rushed to Brindavan Hospital on Kalidasa Road here where they are undergoing treatment.
Sources in the hospital said that the injured are undergoing treatment in an ICU, where they are said to be recovering.
V.V. Puram Traffic Police, who have registered a case in this regard, are investigating.
