Mysore/Mysuru: Hazarath Tipu Sultan Shaheed Welfare & Urus Committee, Tipu Hall, Meena Bazar Lashkar Mohalla, Mysuru, will be celebrating Tipu Jayanti on Nov. 10 at 2 pm at Tipu Tomb (Gumbaz) in Ganjam, Srirangapatna.

The celebration will be led by Sir Khazi of Mysuru Hazarath Moulana Mohammed Usman Shariff under the Chairmanship of MLA Tanveer Sait, who is also the Chairman of Tipu Sultan Waqf Estate Committee.

MLA K. Harishgowda, M.F. Kaleem of Responsible Citizen Voice, Advocate R.S. Anand, Senior High Court Advocate M.S. Mukram, Tipu Sultan Waqf Estate member Mohammed Iqbal Pasha, DCC Member Majeed Ahmed and social worker Ismail Ameen will be the chief guests.

Shahi Imam of Tipu Tomb Hazarath Moulana Inayath-ur-Rehaman Razvi, Estate Officer Mohammed Ayub, DCC Minority Department Spokesperson Mirza Jamsheed Baig Ashrafi, Syed Haneef, Congress leader Syed Rehamath Ulla, Kaleem Ulla, DCC Executive Member Radiulla Khan, Majeed Toufiq Khan, President of Chishtiya Foundation Group Khwaja Mohammed Musheer Chishti Saheb and others will be the guests of honour.

Fatha Khawni, Duwa (supplications) will be performed, floral tributes will be offered to the shrine of Tipu Sultan by spreading flower mat (Chadar Shariff).
