Mahadev, son of Marinayaka and a resident of Hitna Colony in H.D. Kote taluk of Mysuru district, has been selected for the 43rd National Arm Wrestling Tournament to be held at Chhattisgarh from May 1 to 4.
An employee at a private hotel in city, Mahadev is undergoing training in Arm Wrestling for the past nine months.
He had recently bagged a Gold Medal in the 7th State-level Arm Wrestling Tournament held at Karkala and has also won third place in the National-level Classic Open Arm Wrestling Tournament held in Bengaluru recently.
