Tourism and Hospitality Management training

Under the SCP/TSP sub-plans, the Tourism Department has invited applications from SC and ST community candidates from across the State   for admission to Food Craft Institute (FCI) and Institute of Hotel Management (IHM) at Bengaluru to get trained in Tourism and Hospitality Industry.

The admission is open to 292 candidates from SC Community and 162 candidates from ST Community. The candidates must be in the age group of 20 to 45 years. SSLC passed candidates will be trained as Food and Beverage service Steward; fifth standard passed candidates as Room Attendant; PUC passed candidates as Front Office Associate and eighth standard passed candidates as multi- cuisine cook.

The application forms are available at the Tourism Department Offices and the last date for submission of application forms along with required documents is Dec.28.
