Tourist vehicles get entry tax exemption for Dasara

In some relief for tourist vehicles, the State Government has exempted entry tax for tourist vehicles from other States coming to the city for Dasara.

In an order issued on Tuesday, V.S. Pushpa, Under-Secretary of Transport Department, said that tourist vehicles from other States will be exempted from entry tax only for visiting Mysuru city and KRS Dam in Srirangapatna taluk of Mandya district for the period from Sept. 29 to Oct. 6 (both days inclusive).
