Mysuru:  The multi-level parking lot in Town Hall premises is all set to accommodate about 1,000 vehicles during Dasara.

With Dasara festivities to commence tomorrow (Oct. 10), Deputy Commissioner Abhiram G. Sankar accompanied by MCC officials inspected Raja Marga civil works and cleaning works at Town Hall parking lot yesterday.

As he inspected Raja Marga, the DC directed the officials to maintain the area clean.

He later visited the Town Hall parking lot, which can accommodate 1,000 vehicles including 300 four-wheelers.

He directed the officials to deploy security personnel for guiding vehicles entering and leaving the parking facility.

Instructing the officials to make sure that over 700 two-wheelers can be parked in two other floors of the parking lot, Abhiram Sankar asked the officials to erect direction boards at every floor and to ensure that vehicles move in and out of the parking lot without any hassles.

He also instructed the officials to take necessary steps for ensuring that rain water does not gush into the ground floor.

MCC Commissioner K.H. Jagadeesha, SE Suresh Babu and other officials were present.
