Mysuru: Members of the Mysuru Taluk Panchayat (TP) Standing Committee on Social Justice on Thursday inspected the mid-day meal preparation facility at ISKCON in Jayanagar.

The members checked the rice, dal and vegetables used in the preparation of meal and also inspected hygiene and cleanliness. 

Speaking to SOM, Hanumanthappa, one of the members  said that the inspection was going on for the past two days  and on Thursday, they visited ISKCON. Pointing out that the Committee visited the Backward Class Girls Hostel at Raghavendranagar, he said that the Committee found the hostel lacking in cleanliness and the hostel authorities had been directed to maintain hygiene in the premises.

Committee Chairman K.M. Shankar, members Hanumanthu, Tulasi and others were present during the inspection.
