Time and again readers have expressed traffic problems near Vijayanagar Water Tank. To make the situation worse, now the Circle opposite SBM is creating utter chaos as vehicles coming from Vijayanagar Water Tank towards K.D. Road, from Abhishek Circle, from K.D. Road and from Karnataka Bank, all get stuck here, thus making the pedestrian road crossing more risky and dangerous.
The widened roads and gushing of vehicles and the impatient vehicle drivers from all the four sides has aggravated the situation to a worse condition.
There is an urgent need to regulate traffic here as also at the other end Circle of the Tank where the road leads to Surya bakery. With all these, the traffic cops stand at this corner only to trap helmetless and seatbeltless motorists.
It is high time, that traffic brasses should think of preventive measures, rather than concentrating only on collection of fines.
