White topping of Mysuru-Bengaluru Road
Mysuru: The white topping of 1.8-km stretch of Mysuru-Bengaluru Road, between St. Philomena’s College junction near LIC Divisional Office Circle (T.N. Narasimha Murthy Circle), Bannimantap and JSS Pharmacy College Circle in Shivarathreeshwar Nagar here, began this morning.
PWD Assistant Executive Engineer (AEE) Mahadeva Swamy told Star of Mysore, the works will be completed in 25 days.
To facilitate the uninterrupted works, the stretch of road has been blocked for vehicles on either side. To facilitate the movement of KSRTC buses moving towards Bengaluru and the vehicles, the road connecting Subhash Nagar from LIC Divisional Office Circle has been kept open, crossing which people can take old Mysuru-Bengaluru Road for further movement.
