Mysuru, Mar.5- With a view to sensitise the public on following Traffic Rules and Regulations and also to make the motorists Traffic rules compliant, the City Police have launched a new initiative named as ‘Friendly Enforcement Drive.’ As part of the drive, the Police conducted a day-long operation on Mar. 2 (9 am to 9 pm) during which the errant motorists who were found violating traffic rules were given Traffic advisory slips, instead of imposing fine on them.
The Police distributed 7.068 advisory slips during the day-long drive, according to a release issued by the office of the City Police Commissioner.
