Mysuru: Traffic Cops on Tuesday were given a peptalk on being friendly with the public at the soft skill training programme for Police personnel held by the city Police as part of a brand building exercise, at SDM-IMD auditorium on Chamundi Hill Road here yesterday.

Giving an interactive-cum-motivational talk on ‘Serving with Smile,’ Uni Talent Management company’s Chief Talent Officer Madhu Kiran said that any Police personnel working closely with the public should bear in mind that they should not show frustration. Those who work at the grassroots level represent the Department and showing frustration would bring a bad name to the entire fraternity, he said.

Pointing out that since the Department directly interacts with the public, personal at the grassroots level must be cautious during interactions, Madhu Kiran said that the onus is on everyone to build a rapport with the public and not just on the officers.
