JSS College of Pharmacy, Mysuru, had organised a day-long training and workshop on ‘Dissolution Science Basic and Advanced Learning’ to disseminate the recent advances in dissolution at its Sri Rajendra Auditorium in city recently. About 450 students including faculty from various Pharmacy colleges participated in this programme.
Speaking after inaugurating the event, Dr. P.A. Kushalappa, Director, Academics, JSS University, emphasised the importance of dissolution in bioavailability and patient safety.
Dr. G. Parthasarathi, Principal, JSS College of Pharmacy, in his presidential address, mentioned the importance of dissolution as a quality control tool.
The resource persons were Dr. Suresh Venkata Raman, CEO, Veritas Research Inc, Bengaluru, P.G. Manjunath, Head, Quality and Regulatory Affairs, Apotex, Bengaluru and Kanakambaran, Serve Well Instruments Pvt. Ltd., Bengaluru.
Dr. H. V. Raghunandan, Deputy Director, Academics, JSS University and others were present.
