Training and vaccination camp for Haj pilgrims held

Mysuru: The one-day training and vaccination camp for Haj pilgrims of Mysuru, Mandya and Chamarajanagar districts organised by Mysore District Haj Committee was held at Aiman Function Hall opposite Siddiqia Arabic College on Mysuru-Bengaluru Road in city on Tuesday.

The camp was inaugurated with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran by Moulana Hafiz-o-Qari Mateenuddin followed by Naath by Moulana Syed Mohamed Fazil Ashrafi. Abdul Azeez Chand welcomed. Hazrath Moulana Maqbool Ahmed Nizami compered.

Hazrath Moulana Mohamed Zaka Ulla, President, All India Milli Council, Mysuru District Chapter, spoke on  how to perform Umra. Sir Khazi of Mysuru Hazrath Moulana Mohamed Usman Sheriff presided.

Ariff A. Mehkri, Chairman, Mysore District Wakf Advisory Committee , Corporator and Member of Karnataka State Haj Committee Suhail Baig, who is also the Convenor of  Mysore Haj Committee, Syed Abbas, Joint Convenor, Mysore District Haj Committee, Sayeed, Mohamed Mumtaz Ahmed, Secretary, Mysore District Relief Committee, N.Anwar Pasha, member of MUDA, Tajammul  and Dr. Mohamed Sheeraz Ahmed, FWO, Officer, Dr. Fahad, Hoskote, Nanjangud and others were present.

About 300 Haj pilgrims from Mysuru, 56 from Mandya and 23 Haj pilgrims from Chamarajanagar districts will be undertaking Haj pilgrimage this year.
