Transferred Judges accorded warm send-off in city

Mysore/Mysuru: Judges who were transferred from Mysuru District Law Courts were felicitated and accorded a warm send-off at a function organised by the Mysore Bar Association in City Courts Complex premises here recently.

The transferred Judges are: Ashvini Vijay Shiriyannavar, Jerald Rudolph Mendoncca, Yeshwant Kumar, Virupakshiah, V. Vijeth, Sunil S. Hosmani, Kavita Shivaray Undod, B.C. Aravindra, M. Vinod Kumar, Vishwanath Yamakanmardi, Lakshmibai, H.S. Poojashri,  K. Preethy, A.M. Saritha Kumari,  H.V. Shrishylaja, C.N. Munirathnamma, Rajeev Golasar and Asma Kouser.

Principal District and Sessions Judge L.M. Raghunath, who spoke on the occasion, said that Mysuru is a good district and with the cooperation of the Bar Association and advocates most number of cases have been cleared.

The District Court is respected at the national level for clearing a case which was pending for 48 years. The transferred Judges are also responsible for this, he said and wished good luck for the incoming Judges.

Judge M. Raghu, who has been transferred to Mysuru Court, too was felicitated.

Mysore Bar Association President M. Mahadevaswamy, Association Secretary S. Umesh, Vice-President Puttasiddegowda, State Bar Council  Vice-President Chandramouli, Mysore Bar Association Joint Secretary (Woman) Bhagya and others were present at the felicitation programme.
