Transgender pickpockets cash from man at toilet

Mysuru: A pickpocket incident, where a transgender lifted cash from the pocket of a man who was busy peeing, has taken place at Suburban Bus Stand toilet in city on Saturday night.

The man, who lost Rs.2,700 cash, is P. Kumar, a resident of Lashkar Mohalla. 

On Dec.14 at about 10.30 pm, Kumar reached Suburban Bus Stand as he wanted to go to Bengaluru. 

Before purchasing the ticket, Kumar, who wanted to answer nature’s call, went to the toilet at the bus stand and was relieving himself, when the transgender came into the toilet and lifted the cash kept in his pocket and fled towards People’s Park side before disappearing in the cover of darkness.

Kumar, who had lodged a complaint at Nazarbad Police Station, has stated that the transgender was dark complexioned and was wearing a black saree. Nazarbad Police, who have registered a case in this regard, are investigating.
