Mysuru: A 32-year-old man, Surendra Kumar, sustained severe injuries when a tree fell on him while he was riding his two-wheeler on Dewans Road in Devaraja Mohalla on Wednesday afternoon. Kumar, a resident of Kuvempunagar ‘M’ Block, has been hospitalised in a private facility in the city.

The incident occurred when a large tree toppled onto Dewans Road, damaging two cars and an autorickshaw. Surendra, who was travelling from Nanjaraja Bahadur Choultry towards Dewans Road, was struck by the falling tree as he made a turn, resulting in serious injuries.

The Devaraja Police have registered a case and seized the two-wheeler involved in  the accident.
