Mysuru: As 58 trees on either side of Chamarajanagar-Jeevargi State Highway have to be felled on a 8km stretch from Nanjangud town (KM650 – KM658) for expansion of the road, the Forest Department has called a public meeting on felling of the trees at the Range Forest Office, Nanjangud Zone, Nanjangud, at 3 pm on Nov.22.

As 245 trees belonging to different species on either side of Mysuru-Bogadi Gaddige Road have to be felled for widening 8.5km stretch of the road (chainage 5km to 13.50km), the Forest Department has convened a public meeting to discuss felling of the trees at the Department office located in Aranya Bhavan, 6th Cross, Ashokapuram, Mysuru at 11 am on Nov.24.
