Tree-planting drive by Agarwal Samaj on June 12

Mysuru: Agarwal Samaj, Mysuru, which is into community services since many years, has now decided to go for mass tree plantation with the help of Forest Department.

The Samaj has set a target to plant 3,000 saplings to celebrate World Environment Week.

To start with, 500 saplings will be planted at a programme on June 12 at 10 am near Karnataka Bank, High Tension Line Road, Vijayanagar, 2nd Stage.

Chief Conservator of Forests P.B. Karunakar, Police Commissioner Dr. A. Subramanyeswara Rao, MCC Commissioner K.H. Jagdeesha,  Managing Director of CESC D. Kiran and former MLC D.
