Case registered at Alanahalli Police Station
Mysore/Mysuru: Alleging that a few persons had trespassed into the land belonging to the Mysore royal family and were constructing a building illegally, Pramoda Devi Wadiyar’s Communication and Outreach Officer Shivendra Urs has lodged a complaint at Alanahalli Police Station.
In his complaint, Shivendra Urs has stated that out of the total 178 acre and 38 guntas of land coming under Alanahalli Village Survey No. 41, 125 acre land is in the possession of Aramane Kaval, as mentioned in the Court and the order says that it is a private land. In this backdrop, Pramoda Devi Wadiyar has submitted an application to the Tahsildar to mention her name in the records of Rights, Tenancy and Crops (RTC) as the said land is a private property.
Meanwhile, one S. Suryanarayan and his accomplices trespassed into the property and were constructing a building on 55 guntas of the private property. When he (Shivendra Urs) along with Security Supervisor Devaiah and an Advocate went to the spot and questioned them, Suryanarayan and others threatened them, the complaint further stated.
Based on the complaint, Alanahalli Police, who have registered a case under IPC section 441, 506 read with 34, are investigating.
