Tribunal halts selection process for 384 Gazetted Probationers

February 24, 2025

Bengaluru:  The Karnataka State Administrative Tribunal (KSAT) has issued an interim stay on the selection process for the appointment of 384 Gazetted Probationers for the year 2023-24.

The KSAT Bench, comprising Judicial Member S.Y. Vatavati and Administrative Member Amitha Prasad, issued the stay order while hearing a petition filed by  D. Pavithra and 51 other candidates recently.

The next hearing is scheduled for Feb. 25 (Tuesday).

Previously, the KSAT had directed the Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC) to announce the Preliminary exam results on Jan. 30, 2025, and proceed with the appointment process.

However, the Tribunal has now instructed the KPSC to withhold the notification issued on Jan. 29 for conducting the main exams until the next hearing.
