Mysore/Mysuru: District Minister S.T. Somashekar handed over 300 Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) kits worth Rs. 15 lakh donated by Samarthanam Trust for the Disabled to MMC&RI Dean and Director Dr. C.P. Nanjaraj this morning.

Each PPE kit contained three-ply face mask, Nitrile Gloves and sanitisers, to be distributed among the medical staff of K.R. Hospital and Jayadeva Hospital in city.

Samarthanam Trust has so far donated PPE kits worth Rs. 1 crore to the Health Department to be distributed to various hospitals.

MP Pratap Simha, MLAs L. Nagendra and Niranjan Kumar, District Co-operative Union President H.V. Rajeev, Samarthanam Trust Managing Trustee Mahantesh G. Kivadasannavar, Trustee Vasanti Savanur, Trust’s Media In-charge Niranjan, Devaraju, Shivaraju and others were present.
