‘Sanctity of astrology should be preserved’
Mysuru: The Graduation Day of Bharathiya Jyotirvignana Samshodhana Kendra was held at Aradhya Mahasabha on JLB Road here recently.
Certificates in various branches of astrology were distributed to 303 candidates who had successfully completed their courses during 2017-18.
The certificates were distributed by Tumkur University Vice-Chancellor Dr. Y.S. Siddegowda and Retired Principal of Government Sanskrit College Dr. Bhashyam Swamiji.
Speaking on the occasion, Bhashyam Swamiji opined that everyone would aspire to excel in astrology but contended that the subject was not that easy to master. He asserted that the sanctity of astrology should be preserved and added that astrological predictions cannot be revealed instantaneously which actually need a keen in-depth study.
Sri Shivacharya Swamiji of Shivaganga shrine graced the occasion. Kendra President Dr.K.G. Puttahonnaiah presided. Government Sanskrit College Principal Dr.K.M. Mahadevaiah, Aradhya Mahasabha President P. Nagabhushan Aradhya, Astrologer Dr.H.S. Ravikumar Shastri and others were present.
