Srirangapatna: Not wanting to get separated after marriage as their parents had decided to get them married to two different families, twin sisters have committed suicide by hanging themselves at Hunasanahalli village in the taluk on Friday evening.

The deceased sisters are Deepika and Divya (19), daughters of Suresh and Yashodha couple.

It is learnt that Deepika and Divya were very close to each other and now, their parents were said to be preparing to get them married to different families. 

Fearing that they would get separated, the sisters are said to have taken the extreme step. No case has been registered.
