Two books on Chutuku Sahitya released

Mysuru:  District wing of Chutuku Sahitya Parishat and Koustuba Prakashana together had organised a function at The Institution of Engineers-India (IEI) on JLB Road here recently to release the books ‘Sankranti Chutukugalu’ edited by Chutuku Siri Ratna Halappa Gowda and ‘Prof. Wodeyar D. Hegde Avara Aaida Chutukugalu’ edited by Dr. M.G.R. Urs.

Former MLC and Chairman of Chutuku Sahitya Parishat Central Committee Thontadarya inaugurated the programme.

Presiding our the programme, littérateur Wodeyar D. Hegde opined that Chutuku Sahitya has a good place in Sanskrit and hence pointed out that getting a good grip over Sanskrit would help to come out with more Chutuku Sahitya in Kannada.

MyLAC Chairman H.A. Venkatesh is seen releasing books on Chutuku Sahitya at Engineers-India (IEI) on JLB Road in city recently as others look on.

He added that Chutuku Sahitya is tough as a lot has to be conveyed through minimum words.

Writer Prof. K. Bhyravamurthy, MyLAC Chairman H.A. Venkatesh, Dasti Nursing College Founder-President Dr. Thimmaiah, writers Dr. M.G.R. Urs and Ratna Halappa were present.
