Mysuru:  Desiranga Samskruthika Samsthe, Mysuru, will be conducting a two-day dance and theatre fest at Vanaranga in Rangayana premises from Sept. 10 (Tuesday).

The fest will be inaugurated by Kannada and Culture Department Joint Director V.N. Mallikarjunaswamy tomorrow at 6.30 pm. Prof. Mysore Krishnamurthy will be the chief guest on the occasion. The inauguration will be followed by the staging of the play ‘Kallarali Hoovagi’ written by Lingadevaru Halemane.

On Sept. 11, Prof. C. Sarvamangala will deliver the valedictory address at 6.30 pm. Nataka Academy former Member B.M. Ramachandra will distribute certificates to students who participated in the workshop. Prof. Raghavendra will be the chief guest. Later, about 70 students will perform various folk dance including Dollu Kunita, Pooja Kunita, Kolata and Kamsale.
