Two-day JSS Youth Music Festival from this evening

Mysuru: A special Youth festival, featuring highly meritorious, talented young musicians is being organised by JSS Sangeetha Sabha today and tomorrow (Aug. 26 and 27) from 6 pm at ‘Navajyothi Sabhangana’ of  JSS Women’s College in Saraswathipuram.

Some of the best known, young musicians are being showcased in this 2-day festival. The music festival includes Nagaswara by Balaji, followed by Vocal recital by Abhiram Bode and  Apeksha Appala today evening. The accompanying artistes on the Violin are Sumanth Manjunath and M.P. Adithya  respectively; Maalola Simha and Adamya Ramanand on mridangam  and Ajay and Vikram Bharadhwaj on the ghatam respectively.

On the second day (Sunday), Veena and Mandolin duet by Y.G. Srilatha and Sadgun Aithal. They will be accompanied by Vishnuvardhan on mridanga  and Vidwan Ganeshmoorthy on ghatam followed by a Vocal duet by Harini Ramesh and Madhuri  Kowshik. They will be accompanied by Shruthi on Violin, Vikram Bharadwaj on mridangam and Ajay on ghatam.

On the same day, the last programme would be a flute recital by Rakesh Dhatta, who will be accompanied by Kruthik Kaushik on violin, Sachin Prakash on Mridangam and Ganeshmoorthy on ghatam.

JSS Sangeetha Sabha invites all the music-lovers to witness this music festival and encourage the artistes.
