Two-day ‘Mysuru Santhe’ to help children of Mahouts and Kavadis

Proceeds will be used to buy study materials

Mysore/Mysuru: Mysuru Santhe Team has organised a two-day ‘Mysuru Santhe’ on Sept. 10 and Sept. 11 at Maharaja’s College Grounds between 10 am and 8.30 pm.

Disclosing this at a press meet held at Patrakarthara Bhavan here yesterday, Bharath of Mysuru Santhe Team said that the programme is a sales outlet to financially assist children of Mahouts and Kavadis who have arrived for Dasara celebrations along with their parents.

There will be 70 stalls at the mela including stalls of clothing, footwear, jewellery, artworks, handicrafts, house decorative, toys etc. The entry fee will be Rs. 50. A part of the proceeds from the two-day mela will be used to buy study materials and other necessary items will be given to the children of Mahouts and Kavadis.

Snehal, Smitha Balu, Nikhilesh, Gamya and Karthik of the Mysuru Santhe Team were present at the press meet.
